Spaying your female pet or neutering your male pet has many health benefits, besides preventing unwanted offspring.  This is typically done as early as 6 months of age, call today to scedule an appointment.

 

Euthanasia and Cremation

Saying good-bye to a beloved pet is a very difficult situation.  Our compassionate staff will help ease you through this painful experience.  We also have access to cremation services to help with your beloved friend's remains.



Vaccinations

Vaccines help pets live longer, healthier lives.  Vaccines protect dogs and cats from dangerous and sometimes fatal diseases.  Rabies is also a disease that affects humans, so vaccination is important.  Protecting your pet is our goal, and finding an appropriate vaccine schedule for you pet is important to us.

Ultrasound

Diagnostic ultrasound helps us see what is going on inside your pet. Ultrasonography is a non-invasive, painless way to diagnose diseases like bladder stones or just see if your pet is pregnant.

 

Pharmacy
Today pet owners have many options for purchasing medication.  We offer a reliable and personalized place to purchase your pet's medications.  We stock a large variety of medications and pet food, and our trained staff will help with any questions you may have regarding you pet's prescription.

Micro Chipping

Each year, thousands of pets go missing.  A microchip provides a permanent identification for your pet to help it return safely if he or she is lost.  If you find a pet we can scan them to check for the prescence of a microchip, and help identify its owner.



Puppy Wellness Exams and Flight Papers

Do you have a new puppy or kitten?  Congratulations!  We will give your new addition a thorough exam and answer any questions you may have.  If you are traveling with your pet you may need special papers to board the plane or cross state lines, we can help you with this as well.


Dental Care

Does your pet have bad breath?  This can be a sign of a serious health issue.  A brief visual exam will help diagnose a mouth-ful of problems, and indicate if a more detailed exam under sedation is needed.



Digital Radiology

We are pleased to offer digital radiology as a diagnostic tool.  A radiograph or x-ray is painless, safe, non-invasive way to see inside your pet.  We can evaluate bones, organs, and even pregnancies.  For difficult cases, we can also send the radiographs to a Veterinary Radiologist.



Boarding
Need to go out of town for a few days?  Our dedicated staff would love to care for you pet while you are gone.  Just call and reserve a cage for your pet before your next trip.

 

Parasite Control
Parasites like fleas, ticks, roundworms, and heartworms can be a nuisance. However, they can also cause serious illness and even death.  Some parasites can infect humans as well.  You may not always tell if you pet has parasites, a blood test or fecal exam may be needed.  Our expert staff can recommend medications to help control fleas, ticks, heartworms, and intestinal parasites.

 

Blood Work
Some illnesses are not always able to be diagnosed during a physical exam. A small amount of blood can tell a lot about an animal. Before surgery, older pets can benefit from pre-surgical blood work to find underlying problems. Diseases like diabetes, hyperthyroidism, renal disease, and hepatic disease and be detected by our in house blood machine.  Early diagnosis of these diseases can help your pet respond better to the treatment, and have a better quality of life.
